Founded during the fifties, the
Cidrerie de la Brique is a family business. Located in the heart of the Cotentin, the Cidrerie de la Brique,
between Valognes and Cherbourg, has retained its authenticity in a region full of charm and untouched nature.
The apples are mainly harvested in the Cotentin orchards. They come from traditional apple trees and new selected plantations of low-stem apple trees under contract with the cider house.
In 2004, the Cidrerie de la Brique received the
Gourmandie label, guarantee of a quality charter certifying in particular that the cider in the bottle was produced from Normandy cider apples. It is a regional product, the apples come from local suppliers within a radius of 30 to 40 km, farmers who traditionally bring their apples to the cider house, and a quarter of the supplies come from orchards planted since 1987 in the context of agreements signed with our company.
